SEIZE OPPORTUNITY.

Everything that happens under the sun is an opportunity for something (else) to happen _whether disappointment or challenge. But we
fail to understand how set backs are mediums or platform to our success and that is why most opportunities that comes our way are not seized.
Strive Masiyiwa in one of his post on Facebook explained one of his challenges which he sized as an opportunity. According to him, where he was working years past, some people in the organization were meant to go for a training in Japan. He wasn’t chosen despite the fact that he was one of the most qualified for the training. He actually felt bad but even in that state, he still saw an avenue to work on himself. With the help of a senior friend from India who came to South Africa to supervise the works of the company where he was working, he was able to develop himself. His senior advised him not to worry about the injustice rather he should also train himself by reading books. He figured out a number of books to read and even when his colleagues returned, he didn’t act like someone who was cheated or treated bad. And in his works, he measured up with people who went for a special training at Japan while he was down here in Africa. Men of the world might not be able to offer you what you deserve but what can you offer to yourself? The greatest investment you can ever make is on yourself. As the day Strive gets better now he reads over 24 books in a year and you can’t compare him with people who don’t study. A statistical result shows that world millionaires read an average of two books every month while a poor man cannot give an account of two books read in a year. You might not be rich but do you have what it takes to become rich? How far have you developed yourself?, how much do you know about the world right now?, how informed are you.
