Jane was skeptical about her reply so all she said in her mind was smilling or not smilling that's your business. David the guy who they were talking about joined them.

David is a teenager barely 17, tall with broad shoulders and intelligent yet he was facially handsome. Maybe these qualities made girls interested in what he does.

Jane felt somehow bad but didn't know how to ask Nina what her problem was. Nina continued with her behavior as she laughed and smiled at everything David was saying not minding if they were funny or not.
A voice calls from the door next to the classroom where they were discussing Jane! Jane! She ran out to know who was calling just to discover that it was aunty Florence their form Mistress.

It was break period so everyone was free. David continued his discussion with Nina hoping that Jane will be back :

Number #4 harmony street along crescent road. Very close to mine, maybe we will go home together- Nina suggested. Eh mmm okay no problem.

Jane joined them, immediately the bell for break-over rang bagam! bagam! bagam! bagam!.
David went back to his seat to prepare for the next lecture.

School was over, David at the door step ready to go home as Nina calls David! David! Wait for me let's go together......other students turned looking at her in amazement...... The question in their mind would be this girl who joined our school this term is now David's friend how? Or how many weeks have she been here? They both walked down the staircase as David waved at Jane.

Jane couldn't join them since she was working with aunty Florence.

They both went home: on their way they discussed about school activities, the school they attended before they joined Standard Model School. They were talking about family as Nina asked, is your parents strict? Yes my dad to be precise although my mum is easy going but not gentle. This scene continued until they departed.

Nina just finished her assignment, about to rest as she remembered what David told her "You look cute and beautiful" she smiled as series of thought went through her mind. She thought of David through out the night: she couldn't wait to see David in school the next day.

Nina woke up very early in the morning, almost through with what she was doing. As soon she finished, she smiled as she left for school.

She was in school before 7:00am ; surprising to her David wasn't in school by then.
20 minutes later a noise came from the game bam! bam! as if the fellow coming was aggressive,
