 Save rather than spend; why should I save money?

Wisdom is for protection, the same is money; but money won’t protect you if you have not saved any. Always save.

“For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense; but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom giveth life to them that have it”. Ecc. 7:12.

The major reason why we should save money is because of emergencies; it is wise to have savings at hand. When you need money most, you won’t find it….. there is always a reason for you to have some cash at hand.

 4 WAYS YOU CAN SAVE MONEY

1.    Consider/thinks – Before buying any (expensive) thing

Consider whether it is actually important. Ask yourself:

i.                   Do I really need this?

ii.                What if I don’t buy it now?  

2.    go for the next – If you need an item search for the one that are fairly used and good. You must not buy expensive things.

3.    Conserve resources – Prefer cooking by yourself than eating outside. If you can buy food stuff and prepare it on your own, it will help conserve your money. You can grow a vegetable garden in your house or establish a poultry farm.

4.    Don’t borrow – Borrowing is a beautiful thing; you will find it easy to borrow, but I am assuring you that the way you borrowed will not be the same way you will pay. People find it difficult to pay for the money they borrowed.
